| Kurzbiographie | Federico Protto is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans performance, sound, installation, and research. Their work intertwines choreography, music, fashion, and their South American heritage, exploring themes of migration, colonialism, and cross-continental kinship. Federico weaves together myths, fiction, and ancestral notions, creating dynamic installations such as Dress-Rehearsals (2022) and the ongoing MAPA project. They have exhibited at institutions internationally, including DeSingel and MOMU (both in Antwerp) and Centro Cultural de España, Montevideo in Uruguay.
